Plants for innovation
The project promotes knowledge about cultivtion and mangement of Hazel and Filbert and about vegetables cultivated under cold conditions.

The project has two subprojects.
One focusing on cultivation and management of Hazel and Filbert, which are connected to wilderness maintenance or field or garden cultivation.
The second part is related to vegetables that can be cultivated during wintertime und cold temperature conditions. Cold tolerant vegetables can be relevant for smallscale market gardening or other sale with short distance between producer and consumer. Lettuce and cale from Asia be highlighted in this context.
Study of literature and study trip are included project frame.
